Note: This scene was played over Skype and in person, as opposed to being written out. Therefore this post will not be a transcript so much as a summary post of the things that transpired.
Post-Note: This is totally just a placeover with a basic recap of events until I get up the give-a-damn gumption to write something more fleshed out.
River and Ihsan had set a date to come back to the crime scene in the mid-afternoon, once the police had cleared out and the location had officially stopped being a crime scene. They met up and planned to combine forces to try and break the wards masking what had transpired at the crime scene.
The following rolls show their efforts in doing this.

When River botched she had a seizure and collapsed. Ihsan had no real idea what to do, not having dealt with helping people out of Paradox backlashes much before and hardly trained in anything medical. So she brought River back down to the parking lot and let her rest in the car to recover while she called Michael up. An ex-mentor should definitely know what to do in a situation like this.
Michael was in the vicinity so he came out to them instead of giving instructions over the phone.
For context's sake on what awkwardness goes down next, Michael was a mentor to both River and Ihsan, but didn't ever tell one about the other. Also, a dozen weeks ago or so River and her friend Farrah had discovered Michael in psycho killer mode and shot him in the face, took him for dead, and buried him in the desert. River had only just recently found out that Michael was back in the area so that situation in and of itself was very tense.
Ihsan was oblivious to the whole thing, and so she read on River's face that she totally knew Michael and that there was totally something weird going on. Being forward as she was, Ihsan called them both out on it and confessions were made and an understanding was come to.
Also, Michael used his superior magic to break the ward and allow the girls to scope some shit out. Ihsan was able to see back through time and scan on the magic that happened and it was mostly just cover-up stuff. River saw the murder happen and it was grisly and she was pretty sure that it was Michael, possessed by his crazy Past Life, responsible for the killings.
They discussed this over much alcohol in a nearby bar to recover from the day.
